Low-temperature methanol washing process use the cold methanol as solvent, and the excellent characteristics of methanol absorbing acidic gas at low temperature , removing the acidic gas gas from raw material gas.
This process is with high degree of the gas purification and good selectivity, the gas depressurization and decarbonlization can be procesed selectively in the same tower in subsection.
Low-temperature methanol washing process technology is mature and it has a good application performance in industry, it has been used extensively in synthetic ammonia, synthesis methanol and other hydrology synthesis, city gas, industrial hydrogen production and gas desulfurization etc gas purification devices. this technology is used in the large ammonia plant with coal and residue as raw material in domestic.

The new process of pressure vessel
Wuhan Xinfa Petrifaction Equipment Co., Ltd is the only designated design and promotion unit of Carbon monoxide low-temperature low-sulfur shift process invented by professor Chen Fushui(Patent No: ZL93 1 05606.3) and the only manufacturer of high-efficient, low-friction heat-exchange equipment patent(Patent No: ZI2007 2 0088017.2) invented by professor Chen Fushui.
The commonly pressure vessel alternate design has some obvious disadvantages: 1) not paying enough attention to reduce resistance. Production is still in progress for some devices even when the system resistance is up to 0.15 MPa; 2) lacking in system calculation, resulting in poor compatibility; 3) not paying enough attention to purification. In view of these questions, based on the further research and calculation of shift section, Mr Chen Fushui carried out system optimization for the process and equipment, inventing Carbon monoxide low-temperature low-sulfur shift process patent technology. Low-sulfur means meeting the needs of preventing devulcanization without increasing the concentration of hydrogen sulfide in semi-water gas on purpose. In general, the concentration of organic sulfur in semi-water gas is more than 50 mg/NM3 and the concentration of hydrogen sulfide between 30-70 mg/NM3 after desulfuration. In total, the sulfur is between 80-20 mg/NM3. Low-temperature low-sulfur shift process meets these requirements. Low-temperature means the low reaction session is responsible for the important part of shift reaction, meeting the requirements of low energy consumption in low temperature shift. Low-temperature low-sulfur shift process is comprised of *** and ***. *** all uses Co-Mo antisulphuric low-temperature shift catalyst . ***uses both the traditional iron-based high-temperature shift catalyst. Major features of *** are: retaining the advantage of energy-saving in low-temperature shift process , low expenses of shift catalyst, solving the common problems of devulcanization and severe erosion in low-temperature shift process. As for general ammonia plants, ***applies well. As for the methanol unit with high methanol-ammonia ratio(shift gas CO>6.0-8.0%), under the condition of guaranteed quality of gas and water, the lower the better.
By the end of 2009, we have designed or reformed more than 180 low-temperature low-sulfur shift devices. It developed from 10,000 tons of ammonia per year to 240,000 tons of ammonia per year for one single device. Total productive capacity is over 11,000,000 tons ammonia per year. Sinochem Plain Chemical Co., LTD.(Shandong Plain) successively built 7 sets of 80,000 tons, 100,000 tons, 120,000 tons,160,000 tons and 20,000-ton ***shift devices with work pressure 0.8/0 MPa after refoming the first four to six shift device.
Shandong Ruixing Chemical (Shandong Dongping) successively built one 120,000-ton shift device , two 240,000-ton shift devices with work pressure 0.80 MPa and the third 240,000-ton shift device is under way; Jiangsu Funing is building the one 200,000-ton shift device with 1.40 MPa work pressure after reforming the first 80,000-ton shit device; Luxi Chemical Group built two 180,000-ton shift devices at the same time in the new-built industrial park in 2007. We designed all the above devices and provided heat ex-changer.

Wuhan Xinfa Petrifaction Equipment Co., Ltd is located in the Sunshine Street of Miaoshan development zone of Jiang Xia, Wuhan. With convenient transportation, it covers an area of more than 80,000 m2, of which pressure vessel production workshop covers 18,000 m2 and towel internals and packing workshops cover 9,200 m2. It’s suitable for manufacturing and assembly of all kinds of large equipment and components.
